Call and Response part 2 and 3
Hot Sun Foundation/Films completed our two other video exchanges with Bay Cat...on 'a day in the life' of several Kibera residents and a second piece on 'HIV/AIDs and related issues' among the youth of Kibera. The tapes have been received. Bay Cat is a bit caught up with some other works but the edited materials will be posted soon! keep checking!

Well, it has been another great semester at BAYCAT and we were very busy with many media projects...one in particular is the exchange of ideas and language with the Kibera folks....the 2nd installment called Day in The Life can be seen here:

After that we worked together on a piece based on Sex Education. The Kibera folks did a great job in addressing their viewpoint and cultural differences. This can be viewed here:

Overall, I feel the surface has only just been scratched...I hope we can develop a much more direct relationship with our youth and the incredible group out there...peace and love to all of you!
